• GLL - AMBASSADOR FROM READING WINS A SILVER MEDAL IN THE ICF CANOE SPRINT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
  Ed Cox, a talented, 25-year-old canoist from Reading, was one of a four-strong British team to paddle home with a silver medal in the 4 x 200m Relay at the 2010 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Poland (19-22 August).
• GLL - LEADING LEISURE TRUSTS TO MERGE
  GLL and Nexus Community, two of the UK’s leading not-for-profit social enterprises, are to merge (subject to final negotiations) in a deal that will see the new group operate more than 100 leisure centres across South East England.
• Bromley - GLL Announces Grand Prix Sponsorship Deal
  Following this weekend’s successful Aviva London Grand Prix, sport and leisure operator GLL has announced a new three-year sponsorship deal with UKA (United Kingdom Athletics) to support the annual Crystal Palace International event.
