CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES

At Rivermead we run a range of children's activities:

• Tots Waterworld - an uncoached, drop in session for under 5s and parents, cost is £2.55
• Tots Waterworld (coached) - a teacher supervised drop in session for under 5s and parents, cost is £3.40
• Aqua Tots Courses - parent and child swimming lessons for children aged 3 months to 3 1/2 years, cost dependant on course length
• Reading Swim School - swimming lessons for children aged 3 1/2 years and above, cost dependent on course length
• Toddlers World - soft play equipment and bouncy castles for under 5s, cost is £2.35

We also run children's parties here at Rivermead.

TODDLERS WORLD PARTY     

A fun filled soft play party for children under 5 years old.  The range of soft play equipment includes a bouncy castle and soft play shapes set up on a matted area.  Challenging, fun and exhausting! Parent/guardian supervision is required at all times.

£72.00 for 1 hour private hire (maximum of 20 children)

Available: Saturday and Sunday 11.00am*,12.30pm*,2.00pm*,3.30pm*
Parties can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance and are subject to availability. 

SPLASH POOL PARTY

The whole pool is exclusively yours with the 80m flume to ride and great accompanying music.  Sounds fantastic?  It is fantastic!

£90.00 for 1 hour's private hire (maximum of 30 children)

Available: Fridays 4.30pm* and 5.30pm
Saturdays 4.00pm*, 5.00pm*, 6.00pm and 7.00pm
Sundays 4.15pm* and 5.15pm
Parties can be booked up to a maximum of 6 months in advance and are subject to availability. 

NON-SWIMMERS AND CHILDREN UNDER 8 YEARS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED IN THE WATER BY A COMPETENT ADULT SWIMMER. NO MORE THAN TWO NON-SWIMMERS OR UNDER 8'S TO EACH COMPETENT ADULT SWIMMER.

LASER TAG PARTY

Interactive fun game using blasters for 5-15 year olds! Compete in two teams to score the most points!

 £90.00 for 1 hour's private hire (maximum of 16 children)

Available: Saturdays 2.00pm*, 4.00pm*, 6.00pm
   Sundays 200pm*, 4.00pm*, 6.00pm

Parties can be booked up to a maximum of 6 months in advance and are subject to availability.

THE ZONE PARTY

Join in the action in The Zone and take part in a massive range of games that will leave you tired but wanting to play more! Available to 5-15year olds.
These include:
• Interactive Tizzball – Compete in teams to hit the targets
• Sportswall – Score more points than anyone else by hitting this target wall and turning off the coloured lights
• Dance Mats – Interactive team dancing!
• Interactive Jump Zone – How high and fast can you jump?
• Traverse Climbing Wall – How fast can you climb up the wall?
• Rowers & Bikes

£90.00 for 1 hour’s private hire (maximum of 30 children)

Available: Saturdays 2.30pm*, 3.30pm*, 4.30pm*, 5.30pm, 6.30pm
  Sundays 2.30pm*, 3.30pm*, 4.30pm*, 5.30pm, 6.30pm
Parties can be booked up to a maximum of 6 months in advance and are subject to availability.

PARTY FOOD

*Catering is available for selected birthday parties from Baxter Storey, an external company operating at Rivermead. They offer a wide range of food and a menu can be sent on request. Baxter Storey can we contacted on 01189015025, rivermead@baxterstorey.com or www.baxterstorey.com

For party times with no catering available you are welcome to bring your own food into the centre. 45 minutes to an hour is allowed after your party for your food and a suitable area will be made available.

The cost of both Parties includes party bags to fill, balloons, invitations, and complimentary vouchers for the children to come back to the centre.
