Re-enrolment bookings for London Swim School are now taking place for next term at Dormers Wells leisure centre.

All swim school courses are taught in accordance to the syllabus set by the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA), the national governing body responsible for swimming in England to ensure that our swimming courses are of the best possible standard and have a nationally recognised structure.

The ASA have recently introduced new criteria and stages to their approved syllabus. Therefore, in order to maintain our quality teaching standards, we are planning to implement the new changes in January 2010. The ASA aims to introduce stages instead of the current levels for pupils to progress through in order to become competent, confident and safe in the water. The new syllabus will provide progressive stepping stones along the way and give more opportunities later on to take part in a wider variety of activities and other water based sports.
