CENTRE UPDATE - 15 June 2010
The main swimming pools at the Eltham Centre are now open again following a serious fire in February. The main pool and family pool reopened on Tuesday 15 June.
Please note access to the pools is via the main Archery Road entrance. The Gym and a selection of Group Exercise classes are also available.
The changing rooms and toilets are also open, although the pool viewing gallery and spa pool remain out of service while building repairs continue.
Parking
The main car park remains closed to allow access for contractors' vehicles. Parking is available close by in Orangery Lane and there are designated disabled bays in Archery Road.
Reception area and café
The main reception area of the Eltham Centre is now open. Advice and payment services that have been relocated within the Centre are now be back at the Customer Service Centre in the main reception.
The café immediately inside the main entrance is also open.
We aim to have all remaining services at the Centre -- including the crèche, studio 1, the spa pool and the viewing gallery - fully open in the autumn.

Access at Eltham Centre - An IFI Accredited Centre
The Eltham Centre is an Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) accredited facility. This means the Eltham Centre complies with the accessibility standards set out on the IFI website, www.inclusivefitness.org.
Staff within the Eltham Centre have had IFI training and are always available to offer assistance and advice.

Service Update
Due to the Government withdrawing its funding to Councils for the Swim4Life free swimming programme (16 and under and over 60s), the Government scheme will cease on 31 July 2010. Some Councils are choosing to continue to fund free swimming in their areas. Please visit the Borough page to see if the scheme is continuing.
Service Update
The Eltham Centre Main Pool and Family Pool are now available. Access is via the Archery Road entrance. London Swim School enrolments are now open for summer short courses and the September 2010 term.
