GLL has added Lewisham to its list of partnerships with the borough’s leisure centres and pools being reopened in a phased approach this autumn.

It’s GLL’s 15th partnership in London and comes as the UK’s premier not-for-profit social enterprise, emerges from lockdown, reopening vital services, facilities and programmes to support the health and wellbeing of local communities.

CEO Mark Sesnan said: “GLL has the capacity to add Lewisham leisure centres to its portfolio and the borough has a good geographical synergy with our other Partnerships in London.

“Ensuring a good comprehensive leisure centre service means greater opportunities for staff and customers and we look forward to reactivating the centres – which have been closed since March – from this autumn.”
