Change Please

Changing Lives - One Cup at a Time

Change Please is an award-winning social enterprise turning coffee into a force for good. Every cup helps tackle homelessness by funding training, employment, and housing support for people experiencing homelessness, with 100% of profits reinvested to change lives.

By providing barista training, living wage jobs, and wraparound support, Change Please empowers individuals to rebuild their confidence and independence, addressing key issues such as homelessness, unemployment, and social exclusion.

The enterprise supplies ethically sourced, specialty-grade coffee through wholesale, retail, and on-the-go outlets, including cafés, offices, and hospitality venues nationwide.

GLL partners with Change Please as a wholesale coffee supplier, offering customers high-quality, sustainable coffee while supporting a meaningful social mission. This partnership helps create onward employment opportunities for trainees and delivers social impact across the UK.

Yellow Submarine

Bringing Social Purpose to Everyday Services

Yellow Submarine is an Oxfordshire based charity and social enterprise supporting young people and adults with learning disabilities and autism. Many of the people they work with face barriers to work, social inclusion and independence.

Yellow Submarine creates opportunities to help individuals build confidence, skills and life experience through social clubs, holidays and their unique traineeship programme.

Providing hands-on work experience for staff at the Windrush Leisure Centre café run by GLL Yellow Submarine are boosting life skills and future employability. They have 2 cafés, located in central Oxford and inside the Windrush Leisure Centre run by GLL, where they serve drinks, snacks and their award-winning baked goods.

Partnering with social enterprises like Yellow Submarine allows us to make a real impact in the community, promote inclusive employment and bring social purpose into everyday services.
