GLL shortlisted for Leadership & Management Award by Investors in People
Charitable social enterprise leisure and libraries provider GLL has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award through Investors in People - the organisation that champions better workplaces.
Focussing on impact, GLL's approach uses expertise and talent from within its business, upskilling managers and delivering training and learning.
The organisation of 13,000 staff - which is also a workers co-operative - already had a strong reputation for providing routes to employment, apprentices, internal progression, long-term careers and opportunities for local communities.
In 2023 GLL was awarded Investors in People Gold accreditation.
GLL's People Director Lorraine Patrinos said:

Recent milestones include a focus on Management Succession Planning and a rebuilt Trainee Management Scheme.
GLL has been an accredited Real Living Wage Employer since 2022.
